Setting Up Outlook Express to Read News

1. If you have not already done so, launch Outlook Express.
2. Select Go from the menu bar at the top of your screen. Select News.
3. This will launch the Internet Mail wizard. Click Next to begin.
4. In the first option box enter your name as you would like it to appear in messages you publish to news groups. You can enter just about anything in this field.
5. In the next field enter your email address. You must enter the username you selected plus @cgaz.com. Your email address should be all one word and all lower case. Here are some examples, info@cgaz.com, service1@cgaz.com, jsmith@cgaz.com. Click Next.
6. In the next screen, be sure that the top field reads news.cgaz.com
7. You will now be asked for a friendly name with which to organize your related newsgroups. Click Next to select the default. Click Next.
8. In the option group that appears select the first option to connect to the Internet with your modem. Click Next.
9. Click Finish
10. You will now be asked if you would like to subscribe to newsgroups. Click Yes to begin.
11. To change any of these settings, select News from the menu bar and the click Options.
12. To change any of these settings, select Tools from the menu bar and the click Accounts. Then select News.
